I know it’s a bit late, but this is an excellent post. One thing I’d add is that the risk of a bubble in compute investment still feels significant.

Also, when it comes to robotics, proximity will matter a lot more than people think. Data centers will need to be closer to deployment sites, since these systems depend not only on the amount of compute but also on low latency for real-time control and coordination.

What happens if the embodied dimensions of AI becomes increasingly salient as models move from purely digital environments into physical environments?
